“the Web Site” means the whole or any part of the web pages located at www.LaMiaCucina.com.au

“We” and “us” refers to La Mia Cucina, and “our” has the same meaning.

La Mia Cucina is not liable to you or any other person for any loss in connection with the use of this Web Site.

La Mia Cucina has the right to amend the Terms of the Web Site at any time.

La Mia Cucina will not be liable under any circumstances for any damages or loss resulting from any use of the Web Site by you or any other person.

La Mia Cucina does not guarantee that the La Mia Cucina Site is free from errors or faults, however, La Mia Cucina  will make every effort to ensure that the information available on the Web Site is accurate. La Mia Cucina is not liable for any errors or omissions and reserves the right to change any information on the Web Site at any time.

La Mia Cucina is not liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss arising out of the use of or in connection with the Web Site or for any products or services purchased from the Web Site.

These Terms are governed by the laws in force in New South Wales, Australia and you irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia and any courts, which may hear appeals from those courts.

Nothing contained in these Terms derogates from La Mia Cucina right to comply with law enforcement requests or requirements relating to your use of this Web Site or information provided to or gathered by La Mia Cucina with respect to that use.

These Terms do not affect a consumer’s statutory rights.

La Mia Cucina has the right to refuse entry to or participation in any class to anyone La Mia Cucina staff deems unfit to attend a class.  Should you be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and you are likely to disturb or harm other students or La Mia Cucinastaff, your contract with La Mia Cucina will be terminated immediately.  You will not be entitled to any refund of class fees from La Mia Cucina should this event occur.

La Mia Cucina  is not responsible, in any event for any person attending our Premises intoxicated, driving a vehicle over the statutory limits, or for loss of a driver’s licence.

La Mia Cucina accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any lost property.  If any property has been left behind at our Premises, a staff member will endeavour to contact you to make arrangements for the collection of the lost property.  Lost property which has not been claimed within 14 days will be donated to charity.

Classes

• Menus are subject to change without notice.
• At all Cooking Classes La Mia Cucina provides:
  • All the ingredients
  • Set-up with necessary utensils and equipment.
  • Hands-on instruction and cooking demonstrations
  • Folder of Recipes
  • Table linen, cutlery, glassware, napkins & water
  • A full meal
  • Staff for the full duration of the class.

• At all classes you must bring and wear a clean apron for the duration of the class.
• Prices include GST.
• Fees for classes must be paid in advance in order to secure your booking. Classes are only confirmed once full payment has been received.
• All Fees are non-refundable, and non-transferable to another class or class date.
• If you are unable to attend your class you can send someone in your place, however, they MUST complete and lodge an enrolment form with their personal details prior to commencing the class.
• Classes start at the advertised time and you are requested to arrive not less than 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. Should you arrive late La Mia Cucina staff will not recommence the class.
• No further reminder regarding class dates will be given.
• Should a class not reach the minimum numbers required or due to unforeseen circumstances the class cannot take place on the scheduled date, La Mia Cucina reserves the right to change the date of the class or cancel. If that occurs, a refund will be given.
• Children can only be accepted at La Mia Cucina once a child enrolment form has been completed and signed by a parent or guardian and sent to us.
• Children must be accompanied by parent or guardian to be accepted at La Mia Cucina 

• La Mia Cucina is not responsible for any allergies, illness or reactions you may encounter, including leading to death, from any food served at any time at our Premises.

• La Mia Cucina does not have a liquor licence, and can only provide wine for sampling.

La Mia Cucina does not have disabled facilities at its Premises.  Please contact us to see if we can accommodate your booking.

Gift Vouchers

All Gift Vouchers contain a unique Serial Number and date of issue.

By purchasing a Gift Voucher or booking for any class using a Gift Voucher, you agree to the above terms and conditions together with the following terms and conditions:

• All Gift Vouchers unless otherwise requested by the purchaser, will be sent to you by Australia Post.
• Gift Vouchers will be sent to you in accordance with your instructions and La Mia Cucina accepts no responsibility for their delivery.  La Mia Cucina is not responsible if Vouchers are not delivered on time or the condition in which they arrive. We process all Gift Vouchers promptly and forward them in good condition.
• If you lose your Gift Voucher, please advise La Mia Cucina immediately, as all Gift Vouchers carry a Serial Number and we may be able to replace it.
• All Gift Vouchers are sold as vouchers only and are not redeemable for money and are not refundale.
• Gift Vouchers can only be redeemed for the first available class date.
• All Gift Vouchers will be issued in the name of the purchasing person.  The person receiving the Gift Voucher can redeem the Gift Voucher and make a class booking by providing:
  • La Mia Cucina  with the name of the person who gave him or her the Gift Voucher; and
  • the Serial Number on the Voucher

Voucher Expiry Dates

Vouchers purchased from La Mia Cucina are valid for One (1) year from the date of issue, unless otherwise specified.

La Mia Cucina accepts no responsibility for any unforeseen circumstances you incur in redeeming your Voucher.  Voucher expiry dates cannot be changed under any circumstances.

Privacy Policy

 La Mia Cucina needs to collect information about you to process your enrolment.  We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

This Web Site contains links to other sites.  La Mia Cucina  is not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by this Web Site.

Indemnity and Risk Waiver

La Mia Cucina accepts no responsibility for any loss or injury to you or to your property as a result of attending classes or other events at our Premises

In the case of an emergency La Mia Cucina’s staff is authorised to arrange for any medical or other treatment for you, which is deemed necessary.  La Mia Cucina is not liable to pay any costs, which may be incurred for medical attention, ambulance transport and drugs while you are enrolled with La Mia Cucina.

You release and indemnify the La Mia Cucina, its employees, servants, agents and service providers against all actions, suits, claims, demands, proceedings, losses, damages, compensation, costs, charges and any expenses whatsoever arising directly or indirectly out of any personal injury to you or your child howsoever it occurred.
